Explanation

Although the ອິນ​ສີ​ [insi] part of the name could be mistaken to mean “eagle,” that word is actually spelled as ອິນ​ຊີ [insi] with a different letter for the “si” part.

ຊຽງ [siang] means city or town. Specifically, a principality or a city ruled by a prince or someone of royalty.

ໃໝ່ [mai] means new.

This name could be referencing the creation of a new city of an ancient Indian city called Indraprastha, which means “City of Indra.” This city was also known as Indapatta or Indapattana in Pali Buddhist texts. This ancient city is part myth and legend, but thought to also be real and the search is on-going. Indrapastha was thought to be so mighty and beautiful that even heaven would pale in comparison.
